One Plus 10 Pro arrives today: Hasselblad camera, OxygenOS 12, 50W fast wireless charging. What to expect

OnePlus has confirmed that the official launch of its flagship the OnePlus 10Pro will take place on Tuesday in China. The brand is yet to divulge its plan for its grand launch in India. Ahead of the launch here is a glimpse of what all we know so far and what to expect from the mega launch on Tuesday.

At the launch, the premium brand will announce pricing details and availability plans of its latest smartphone. Reportedly the base variant of the phone will be priced in the range of CNY 3,000 to CNY 3,999 which amounts to Rs 35,000 to Rs 46,600 in India. The prices are mere speculations for now, it will be confirmed during the official launch.

The latest OnePlus 10 Pro will be launched in 8G+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB configurations. It has been reported that the OnePlus 10 Pro price in India will be around Rs 60,000.

One of the key highlights of the new phone will be its Hasselblad triple camera module. Earlier this week, it was confirmed that the new series will feature a triple-camera module with Hasselblad-tuned shooters. This is the second time OnePlus is uniting with the Swedish brand for its flagship smartphone.

Enhanced photography
The OnePlus 10 Pro’s cameras will be able to capture more vibrant colours, have a more refined Pro Mode to save images in RAW+ format. It will also allow users to tweak video settings while recording.

The second-generation Hasselblad triple rear camera setup comes with a Dual OIS. The rear camera module will include a 48MP sensor, a 50MP sensor, and an 8MP sensor. The new phone also flaunts a 32MP front camera ideal for video calls and selfies. Its ultrawide camera with a 150-degree field of view will come in handy for capturing more subjects in the frame than ever.

OnePlus10 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform and it will run on Oxygen OS 12 that is based on Android 12. The brand has added a fluid AMOLED display with second-generation LTPO calibration technology with a 120Hz refresh rate. The 10 Pro will have a12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS3.1 256GB storage.

High on performance

The second-generation Hasselblad triple rear camera setup will have dual OIS. The rear camera module will include a 48MP sensor, a 50MP sensor, and an 8MP sensor. Besides, the 32MP front camera is ideal for video calls and selfies. OnePlus’ latest offering will feature a 5,000 mAH battery that will support 80W super VOOC fast charging.

The phones will support 50W AirVOOC wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. It will also include support for NFC, VolTE, X-axis Linear Motor haptics. The device will also feature dual stereo speakers and Bluetooth 5.2 and will come in a 163×73.9×8.55mm dimensions. The phones will be available in two colour options Volcanic Black and Emerald Forest.
