Apple has claimed that the iPhone 13 series is one of its most selling smartphone series in recent times and it expects the iPhone 14 series to exceed expectations. However, there may be some minor hiccups to Apple’s vision.
Reportedly, iPhone 14 Pro customers in the US have flagged issues concerning 5G connectivity on the devices. The consumers of Verizon Network in the US have claimed that the 5G cellular connectivity on the Pro models have been slow, unreliable and frequently dropping.
According to a Reddit user, his device signal which is usually 1 to 20 bars at home with a 14 Pro, his brother who owns an iPhone 13 gets all four signal bars. The user claimed that his brother gets faster speeds on 5G than him. He said that he was hopeful that the glitch will be updated in a future iOS update.
Meanwhile, another Reddit user claimed that the problem might not be with the iPhone 14 Pro after all. The user who is from Georgia said that the data speeds have been faster on iPhone 14 Pro Max compared to her iPhone 12 Pro Max. She went on to say that Verizon’s data network has not been good most of the time. She said that T Mobile offered a significantly faster network in Georgia compared to Verizon, while AT&T was more consistent.

However, Apple or Verizon are yet to address the connectivity issues as claimed by these users. However, last week Apple rolled out an iOS update for the shaky camera issue that was reported on the new iPhone 14 Pro devices. The iOS 16.0.2 update has been rolled out specifically to address the issue. The issue was reportedly seen on third-party applications such as Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat. The camera issue had also led to strange sounds while recording videos on iPhone 14 Pro devices.
