iPhone 14 display specs leaked, Apple may use these brands for its latest device. Check out details

Apple’s iPhone 14 line-up is one of the highly-anticipated devices of the year. While as always, the premium smartphone maker has not divulged details about its upcoming devices, plenty of leaks and teases are keeping Apple fans on the edge. Over the last few months, several leaks have hinted at massive camera upgrades, design changes, and even software upgrades. However, according to the latest reports, iPhone 14 series may likely get both LTPS and LTPO OLED displays.

While the Pro models are likely to sport two-part notch layouts, the regular models will come with high refresh rates. Devices in the iPhone 14 series will likely get OLED displays from suppliers such as BOE, Samsung Display and LG Display.

According to a report by research company Omdia, Apple will continue to collaborate with its three display suppliers who will supply two variants of OLED displays for four variants in the iPhone 14 series. The latest report in a way has confirmed the previous reports suggesting Apple’s plan to change the display layout in the coming years.

Four iPhones At Once

The report stated that the next-generation iPhone series will get four variants such as a standard variant, a plus variant and the usual Pro models. This year the company will skip the ‘Mini’ variant which was launched in the iPhone 12 series. All four models will be split across as LTPS OLED and LTPO OLED displays.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will likely get the LTPS OLED displays which are about 6.1-inch and 6.9-inch respectively. The regular models will get new OLED displays that will increase their refresh rate.

Enhanced Functionality

The Pro models will come in the same screen sizes, however, they will sport the LTPO OLED displays. The new displays will enhance the VRR experience on the devices. The Pro models will likely come with Always-on Display support as LTPO OLED displays are usually used for devices with similar functionality.

Apple iPhone 14 series will have two different notch styles. The standard and plus models will feature the existing notch, while the Pro models may have a two-part notch layout. Out of the two-part notch, one will be used for Face ID and the other will be the front camera.
