Both smartphones are backed by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ Chipset. The Rog Phone 6 was launched earlier this year. The Asus Rog Phone 6D has been launched at GBP 799 (about Rs 72,400) and Rog Phone 6D Ultimate at GBP 1,199 (about Rs 1,08, 700).
Both smartphones come with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ custom AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate. The devices feature a 2.5D curved glass with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Protection. Both devices are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ and come in 16GB RAM + 256GB and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage configurations.
The smartphones that are offering additional power for gaming and a host of other features also come with Asus cooling system. According to the company, the new cooling system reduces the temperature by up to 10 degrees Celsius. The high-end Rog Phone 6D comes with a 6,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. The device runs on Android 12 and the brand has stated that it will be offering security updates for two years.
The smartphones also come with a triple-camera module with a 50MP primary camera, 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro lens. There is a 12MP front camera ideal for selfies and video calls.

Besides, the brand is also sporting an AeroActive Portal installed at the back of the smartphone. The AeroActive Portal developed by Asus on the Rog Phone 6D Ultimate offers an enhanced cooling mechanism that delivers a sustained performance unlike the previous editions of the smartphone. Asus is also offering the AeroActive Cooler 6 separately for GB 89 (about Rs 8,000). While the smartphone is available for pre-order, there have been no details on its launch in the Indian market.
